Commis Chef Apprentice – Old Bridge Inn Ripponden

A Level 2 Commis Chef Apprentice is required to work alongside chefs and the kitchen manager. Duties include: menu planning, costing, kitchen layout, fridge and freezer daily management, data logging, lunchtime menu service and evening bar menu service. All services are done under the supervision of the kitchen manager or bar manager.

What will the apprentice be doing?

A 360 role within the catering side of the business
Showcasing what they’ve learnt at college and giving advice to others
Ordering and sourcing
Maintaining our high standards by instructing waiting staff to go FOH to constantly check on customers.
Good communication to work in a big team.

Your training plan

Commis Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:
