What will the apprentice be doing?

Abzorb is offering a chance to join the Brighouse based Sales Team in a role of Account and Customer Service Apprentice, the individuals learn and follow the roles of:

  • Full Sales Processes
  • Sales Techniques, including over the phone & face to face meetings
  • In-depth training of all products in the telecommunications industry (mobile, phone systems, broadband)
  • Customer service and customer management education
  • Effective time and self-management

Main Roles & Responsibilities

  • Effectively account manage a number of existing Abzorb accounts, ensuring good customer service and communication with customers
  • Ensure that sales information is collected and collated on Abzorb Systems
  • Outbound calling to new prospecting customers
  • Building quotations for new and existing customers services
  • Working alongside other account manager and sales staff on company projects
  • Working alongside Abzorb project managers on completing successful working practices for products
  • Accompanying other account managers on customer off site meetings
  • Maintain documents, records and files in line with the company standards and requirements
  • Booking meetings for other members of the account management team

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be working towards getting a Level 2 Customer Service qualification.

Your college day release of learning will take place at Huddersfield Waterfront Centre or on Teams on a Wednesday.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

There is a strong possibility that you will gain a permanent position following successful employment as well as achievement of the full apprenticeship qualification.

With further progression to join the Abzorb team full time as an Account Manager with incentives of commission & a company vehicle.
