Adults in Kirklees who want to add a string to their bow by taking a part-time course at Kirklees College are being encouraged to enrol this week.

Courses are still available at Almondbury, The Manse, Milnsbrige, Taylor Hill, Holmfirth, Highfields, Colne Valley in Huddersfield as well as the main, Huddersfield Centre on New North Road.

Courses in North Kirklees are available at Dewsbury, Batley, Heckmondwike, Liversedge, Mirfield, Overthorpe, Wheelwright centre and Whitcliffe.

Adults can still enrol for courses in a wide range of areas including:

• pottery
• painting
• counseling
• French
• creative writing
• computing
• guitar making
• jewellery making
• bake and decorate
• ceramics
• belly dancing
• upholstery
• first aid
• millinery
• Spanish
• floristry
• dress making

Kirklees College’s adult education leader, Roy Ledger said:

“Taking a part time course in a subject you may have always fancied trying is a very worthwhile thing to do. We really want to encourage adults to enrol on these courses this week. We have such an interesting range of courses on offer, there’s bound to be something for nearly everyone!”
