Immigration
The UK immigration system is changing dramatically and will affect students wishing to study in the UK. You may need a visa to enter the UK and this should be done in the country where you are resident. For the latest information please visit www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/studyingintheuk
Non-EU/EEA students - if you are a citizen from one of the EEA countries or a British citizen, you many need entry clearance before you travel to the UK.
Visa Nationals - if you are a visa national you must always hold entry clearance to gain entry to the UK.
Points Based System - Tier 4
If you need to apply for a student visa under Tier 4 of the new Points Based System to study, Kirklees College will need to issue you with a unique Confirmation of Acceptance to Study (CAS) number. Please contact the International Office as soon as possible at international@kirkleescollege.ac.uk
