The international office provides a comprehensive, free accommodation service to make sure your arrival in Kirklees is as stress-free as possible. You can find some options below.
Host Family Accommodation
We manage a database of families who are able to offer accommodation to international students. All our host family providers are trusted and regularly checked to make sure you have a positive and safe student experience. Host family accommodation is very popular and it provides a friendly, relaxed environment giving you a real insight into family life in the UK and helping you build your language skills on an informal basis.
Host family accommodation generally consists of a single private room with study facilities within the family home. Breakfast and evening meals are provided throughout the week and your host family may be able to provide you with a daily packed lunch if required. You will usually join the family for meals and other family activities.
The cost of family accommodation is typically £95 - 110 per week.
To apply for Host Family Accommodation please complete an Application for Accommodation Form and return it to the International Office team.
