Kirklees College, official education partner of Huddersfield Town FC
Huddersfield Town FC and Kirklees College have agreed to continue their partnership in 2011-12 following a successful 2010-11. The one year extension sees the continuation of a unique partnership between two of the biggest institutions in the Kirklees area and places Kirklees College logo on the front of the home team shirts.
One of the biggest colleges in the country, Kirklees College provides a vast range of courses and study options to a variety of age groups. The partnership benefits students, staff, businesses and the local community.
The partnership offers many opportunities for:
- Rewarding and recognising students and staff
- Engagement with parts of our community that have been hard to reach in the past
- Placing the college at the heart of local business networks
Students also enjoy extra-curricular enrichment activities and work placement opportunities.
Staff have increased access to use the fantastic facilities which off-set existing conferencing costs whilst also increasing the quality of events.
The college is taking a different approach from the traditional advertising campaigns it has run previously, which have raised awareness, but offered little else. In these tough economic times, this is an investment of time and money in the local community, which can add value and benefits for our students, staff and stakeholders.
The partnership has opened doors to many new business relationships which the college needs to develop as a quality education provider.
