  • I design what we're putting on the menus, instruct staff, cook and source the produce.
  • What was Kirklees College like?
  • It was hard work, but I really enjoyed it and there were great staff there.
  • Has the course helped you get where you are now?
  • The support from my tutors helped me achieve my course and get where I am today. They helped me develop a hard work ethic which means that I'm not afraid to put the effort into something to get what I want. This is really important in a high pressure professional kitchen, where you can't afford to make mistakes or lag behind.
  • Why did you choose Kirklees College?
  • I believe it to be the best choice catering college around.
  • If you could give advice to students in their final two years of school, what would you say?
  • It's definitely worth considering further education to help you progress to where you want to be. You might not know exactly where you want to end up, but if you work hard in an area you enjoy and with the support of the college, you'll be able to work in that industry after completing the course.
