Art is a highly successful and nationally recognised part of Kirklees College, with its own distinctive identity and reputation. With further education courses available at Batley School of Art and the new Huddersfield Centre, we offer an ideal creative working environment with excellent facilities, well equipped studio spaces and the latest design technology.

Our students benefit from a rich educational experience that equips them to succeed in their chosen professional careers. Whatever their chosen discipline, our priority is to encourage each of our students to develop their personal brand of imagination and creativity, to help them acquire the knowledge, skills and experience needed to realise personal ambitions and to find their unique voice as an artist or designer.
