Nathan who studied at Colne Valley High School, chose the apprenticeship route after deciding that university wasn’t for him, and he wanted to gain valuable work experience whilst gaining a qualification and earning a wage.
Nathan is studying towards his Customer Service Level 2 apprenticeship, and working for Easy Fireplaces gives him exposure to a range of different customers and ensures that he is gaining those all-important skills to deliver fantastic customer satisfaction.
Due to Easy Fireplaces dedication to develop their employees, Nathan knew that this was the right fit for him. He was welcomed into the team from day one and settled right in and, with the firm continuously hiring their apprentices after their apprenticeship has ended, he was excited to get started on his apprenticeship journey.
Nathan’s apprenticeship experience is growing from strength to strength. The business saw his potential and expressed interest in transitioning him into a role in the accounts department. Once Nathan finishes his Customer Service apprenticeship he will begin studying again with Kirklees College and be developing his skills within accountancy and book keeping.

Kirklees College train approximately 2,000 apprentices over 30 occupational areas. Our apprentices are employed at over 1,000 companies throughout West Yorkshire. We’re 1st in West Yorkshire for apprenticeships, and 9 out of 10 employers would rate us highly on the professionalism of staff delivering training or assessments.
