Joseph Edwards is undertaking an apprenticeship in Digital Marketing, and was keen to learn the skills required to progress in this career path whilst gaining on the job experience, after leaving Bruntcliffe Academy School. His interest in Easy Fireplaces came from the company’s success in the industry, and the strong team and family ethos that came across when researching the business.
Joseph has grown in leaps and bounds since starting his apprenticeship. It has helped him become more confident and learn the workings of a business culture.
Originally quite a quiet person, he has really gained his voice and found his feet. Joseph continues to develop on a daily basis and has really fit into the Easy Fireplace team. His attitude to work and the growth he has shown in only a small amount of time is lovely to witness.
Chris’s passion for helping others succeed is evident in the work he does with students, helping future workers learn the tricks of the trade and providing a guiding hand to develop their potential.
Chris Worsley, Easy Fireplaces Managing Director said: “I believe in investing in my team and bringing through apprentices and young people adds a certain spice to your business that I really wouldn’t be without. If you invest in them they will give back to you, and their potential is limitless!”
Easy Fireplaces was established in 2006, a business built on strong foundations of customer service, quality brands and products, an ethos that Managing Director Chris Worsley still stands by today.
For over four years, Easy Fireplaces have been working with Kirklees College to train up the next generation of workers. As a former student and Alumni of Kirklees College, Chris knew it was the only place to consider when looking for an apprentice.
Kirklees College train approximately 2,000 apprentices over 30 occupational areas. Our apprentices are employed at over 1,000 companies throughout West Yorkshire. We’re 1st in West Yorkshire for apprenticeships, and 9 out of 10 employers would rate us highly on the professionalism of staff delivering training or assessments.
